MD N-HYPPADEC RECEIVES COURTESY VISIT FROM HEALTH STUDENTS ASSOCIATION OF NIGER STATE.

The Managing Director of the National Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission (N-HYPPADEC), Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Yelwa FCNA, FNIS, FNIM (Katukan Yauri), has received a courtesy visit from the leadership of the Health Students Association of Nigeria, Niger State Chapter, on Tuesday, 22 September 2026.

The students said the visit was aimed at exploring opportunities for partnership and collaboration on the Association’s proposed one-day public lecture on drug abuse and open defecation, scheduled to take place at Shiroro Town Hall, Niger State.

In his remarks, the Managing Director expressed readiness to collaborate with the Association, provided the proposed activities align with the Commission's mandate.

He further reaffirmed N-HYPPADEC’s commitment to working closely with the Association as a supervisory team towards the planned medical outreach programme to be conducted across the ten N-HYPPADEC member states.

The Association also presented an award of recognition to the Managing Director in appreciation of his exemplary leadership, unwavering commitment to the development of Niger State, and selfless service to humanity.
