N-HYPPADEC HOSTS MINISTERIAL SERVICOM COMMITTEE MEETING (MSC), REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENT SERVICE DELIVERY.

The National Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission (N-HYPPADEC) has hosted the October edition of the monthly Ministerial SERVICOM Committee Meeting in Abuja.

The meeting, which was held on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at the Conference Hall of the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF), reaffirmed the Commission's unwavering commitment to institutional accountability and efficient public service delivery.

With the theme, "Driving Citizen-Centric Interventions and Service Excellence in Hydro-Affected Communities," the meeting focused on optimising the Commission's operational frameworks to ensure that communities impacted by hydroelectric activities receive prompt, transparent and effective service interventions.

In his presentation, the SERVICOM Focal Officer for N-HYPPADEC, Ahmed Mohammed Yakubu, emphasised the vital role of citizen-focused governance and compliance with service standards in achieving the Commission's mandate.

He said the meeting also served as an opportunity for various stakeholders to review service delivery initiatives, identify feedback mechanisms and strengthen performance benchmarks across N-HYPPADEC's areas of operation.

He noted that since its inception, the SERVICOM Unit has been living up to its responsibilities in ensuring excellent service delivery and cordial relationships with the Commission's stakeholders.

Mr Yakubu also charged members to always uphold the SERVICOM Charter in the discharge of their responsibilities in their respective ministries, departments and agencies.

He appreciated the Managing Director of N-HYPPADEC, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Yelwa (Katukan Yauri), for his unwavering support for the operations of the SERVICOM Unit, assuring him of the unit's commitment to achieving even greater heights.
