MD PAYS FAMILIARISATION VISIT TO NEW CHAIRMAN, HOUSE OF REPS COMMITTEE ON N-HYPPADEC.

The Managing Director of the National Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission (N-HYPPADEC), Abubakar Sadiq Yelwa (Katukan Yauri), paid a familiarisation visit to the new Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on N-HYPPADEC, Hon. Kelechi Unwogu, at the National Assembly Complex on July 14, 2026.
The Managing Director was accompanied by Dr. Haruna Jimoh Gabi, Director of Finance and Administration.
The visit provided the N-HYPPADEC management the opportunity to brief the chairman on the mandate, ongoing activities, and strategic direction of the Commission.
While appreciating the delegation for the visit, he assured the Commission of his committee's maximum cooperation and support in delivering on its mandate to the power-producing areas.
